About Us

Hi, my name is Rob Foreman; I'm CEO of Kustom Glass Etching. I'd like to give you a little background information about my company and me.

I'm a middle child, born and raised in Kettering, Ohio, a Naval veteran trained in aviation electronics. After leaving the Navy I settled in Sattelite Beach, Florida. where I apprenticed glass etching with Reflections on Glass Co. Once thoroughly trained in the field, I ventured out on my own, started my own glass etching business in Melbourne, Florida. I ran a successful business for 10 years. This enterprise became too financially competitive in that area so I sold it. Invested the profits in a Steakhouse located in Sattelite Beach, it was a comfortable family business for several years. I then sold that business and moved to Orlando where I was employed by a D.O.D. contractor in the laser industry for 7 years. Became production supervisor, in charge of 20+ employees. Worked in the R & D department for Schwartz Electro Optics which was bought out by OSI Defence Systems of California. I was hoping to retire but they tendered an offer that was too good to refuse.

After being hit by 4 hurricanes retreat seemed the only sensible solution, so I sold my property and relocated to Kingman, Az. understanding it is a pretty hurricane free location. I was employed by GCW - Grand Canyon West the Hualapai Nation as a skywalk tour guide over the Colorado River, enjoyed interfacing with all the tourists, foreign and domestic, for about 7 years.

It is once again time for me to venture out on my own, be my own boss. I look forward to this new step and working with my friend of 24 years, Nathan Southwell. It will be exciting to get back to glass etching with the start of KustomGlassEtching.com. This new start will include all the latest tools and technologies of the glass etching trade.
